KINGS CRUISER - CUSTOM 28

Custom cold molded epoxy and mahogany, this boat was originally designed by Swedish yacht designer Tord Sunden and built by custom boat builder Todd Uecker in 1993.  Todd is current owner of Cape George Boatworks in Port Townsend.  The original design was modified by Todd and built in Wisconsin before trailering it to Pacific NW to launch.  The build included raising the sheer 3" and raising the bow 7" to increase the spring in the sheer lines.  This also provided more interior volume and headroom without incorporating the raised aft section of the house.  She's an exceptional example of cold molded epoxy construction and the finish work is equal to the finest we've seen in a custom boat.  You will not be disappointed!  Cold molded wood/epoxy boats are maintenance free, providing the insulation value and feel of wood with the convenience of fiberglass.  There's a small amount of brightwork to give Scout a classic yacht look as well.  Fresh 2021 Micron CSC bottom paint.
