A quick internet search will produce countless articles and reviews of this classic Sparkman & Stephens design #1727, all of which are exceptionally complimentary about her performance. The Pilot 35 is one of the earlier examples of modern fiberglass laminate technology and she has proven herself a champion among offshore cruisers. A beautiful traditional looking boat with moderation in both hull shape and sailplan. This design was built exclusively by Henry R. Hinckley & Co. A total of 117 were built, with 25 of them built as yawls. Designed to sail exceptionally well upwind, the moderate sailplan provides comfortable handling in all conditions on all points of sail.
